The weather forecast is overcast but dry for tomorrow with a breeze from the south west. Don’t forget to bring a copy of your chosen route with you to the Rose & Crown, Ivinghoe.

The 9am rides explore the Chiltern lanes and hills around Great Hampden and Radnage before returning on the flat via the Icknield Way.

Velos Rides for Sunday 12th August 2018

It could be quite wet tomorrow morning (according to the BBC) so if you do come out don’t forget a rain jacket. Sadly I can’t join you for this event since quite frankly I had my fill of rain on Friday.

Have fun,

Andy

9am ride:

57 miles:

This goes very close to the Green Dragon Eco Farm Cafe at Hogshaw (zoom into the map a little), so if you need a warming cuppa then you could always call in.

Velos Rides for Sunday 5th August 2018

Sincere apologies for the late posting this week. We have experienced the “perfect storm” of an admin hiccup combined with Mapometer mysteriously disappearing off the internet taking all of our back catalogue of route with it !

10am start, 26 miles

Services will be vastly improved next week as Mr Beezer takes over the summer season of putting out the weekly rides.

Velos Rides for Sunday 22nd July 2018

Three rides on offer again this week, with the early one not starting from our usual spot.

9am start @ Gawcott Village Hall MK18 4JD – 50 mile ride
This route, planned by Dave Howe, offers us the opportunity to try out some new roads. It is about 36 minutes from Ivinghoe so probably best to leave home at 8am to ensure there is enough ‘faff’ time. Pace will be 15-16 mph. If you are stuck for a lift or you plan to cycle there, head on over to our Facebook group for some more info.

10am start, 36 miles

10am start, 23 miles

Both of the 10am rides depart from the Rose and Crown in Ivinghoe. Please bring a copy of your chosen route with you.
