It’s hard to say exactly what the weather has in store for us tomorrow but it at least looks like it will start off dry. Meet at the Rose & Crown Ivinghoe, bring a rain jacket and a copy of your chosen route.

Lumpy and bumpy 38 miles:
or 29 steady miles…
9am ride, 47 miles:
This one doesn’t range too far from home in case it tips it down and we want to cut it short…
The weather forecast is overcast but dry for tomorrow with a breeze from the south west. Don’t forget to bring a copy of your chosen route with you to the Rose & Crown, Ivinghoe.
The 9am rides explore the Chiltern lanes and hills around Great Hampden and Radnage before returning on the flat via the Icknield Way.
9am ride option 1: 50 miles: The Stokenchurch Thumb:
Those wanting a longer ride (currently 3 of us) can peel off towards Christmas Common just after Stokenchurch and do the Benson Finger with a lunch stop at the Waterside Cafe at Benson Marina.
9am ride option 2: 70 miles: The Benson Finger
Both rides stay together until Stokenchurch.
The 10am rides are supplied courtesy of Mr Bembridge:
It could be quite wet tomorrow morning (according to the BBC) so if you do come out don’t forget a rain jacket. Sadly I can’t join you for this event since quite frankly I had my fill of rain on Friday.
This goes very close to the Green Dragon Eco Farm Cafe at Hogshaw (zoom into the map a little), so if you need a warming cuppa then you could always call in.

Sincere apologies for the late posting this week. We have experienced the “perfect storm” of an admin hiccup combined with Mapometer mysteriously disappearing off the internet taking all of our back catalogue of route with it !
8am start, 74 mile trip to Oxford
10am start, 41 miles
10am start, 26 miles
Services will be vastly improved next week as Mr Beezer takes over the summer season of putting out the weekly rides.
