Ivinghoe Velos Rides For Sunday 28th June 2026

Three routes for riders to tackle this Sunday, two from Ivinghoe chuch and a longer one from the crossroads in Haddenham.

At 9.30am riders can meet at the crossroads in Haddenham and ride on some different roads around Oxfordshire with a couple of crossing of the Thames. 9.30am start to allow time to drive to Haddenham, or for the very keen, ride the extra 17 miles from Ivinghoe! 54 miles from Haddenham not a great deal of climbing.

At 10am it’s a hilly 30 miles. Heading out through Edlesborough and Tottenhoe, the route climbs up to Dunstable Downs before a long descent to Markyate. After climbing out of Markyate it heads over to a descent of Red Lion Hill, a climb up to Potten End and on to Ashridge College before dropping down to Aldbury and over Pitstone Hill, concluding with a swift descent to the Rose and Crown.

At 10.30 the route is a flat 20 miles figure of 8 around Tring
