We have three delicous routes for your enjoyment this Sunday all starting from Ivinghoe church. Please arrive before the stated start time and join a ride, regulars, returns and new faces always welcome!

The longer route is “one hill wonder” after a few weeks of challenging rides, this ride is fairly easy, apart from the little matter of Chinnor Hill: it’s just under a mile long, we gain nearly 400 feet at an average of 7% (maximum gradient is getting on for 15%). everything else is flat!

The medium route uses quiet roads to our North for a trip through Swanborne, returning with a dash through Stewkley, the route covers 31 miles.

The short ride option is a 21 mile double loop with a flat one out to Slapton before the climbing begins over to Studham

Diary Dates Away Days

Next Sunday 20th September we have the final “summer away day” ride with a route provided by Clive, details to follow a great chance to ride somewhere else, see some different roads and enjoy some hospitality in a new setting, open to all with the pace set to suit all riders. We will still be offering the usual three different distances from Ivinghoe for those who don’t like travelling to ride.

From Tuesday 22nd to 24th September Trevor and I will be testing out some routes from Stamford. It’s around a 90 minute drive, anyone is welcome to come along to ride with us on any of the days or all of the days!
