Hopefully the weather is going to sort itself out and be on our side tomorrow (although it’s definitely looking somewhat dodgy!). This weekend it’s all about the Queen of Tea, Mary.
In honour of Her Ladyship’s Big Day, we have a special outing planned.
For those willing to brave, on two wheels, what currently looks like howling gales, the ride will depart the Rose & Crown at 10am as usual. Traversing our beautiful countryside for approximately an hour, with arrival at The Stag in Mentmore expected around 11am, tea and cakes have been arranged.
Those either, not so brave, or feeling under the weather and encouraged to venture out on four wheels and meet the valiant ones at The Stag for birthday refreshments from 11am.
It takes more than a bit of “Wet ‘n’ Windy” to stop tea and cake.

I won’t be cycling, going by car instead- if anyone wants a lift let me know. Also we need to give an idea of how many want tea and cake to the Stag so if you read this and are intending to go, please let me know. Thanks
