Three rides for us this week, all designed by Dave Howe.

Something different for us this week. Dave Howe has proposed an additional choice of an off-road ride starting at 9am. This will be a 60 mile ride with a mixture of cycle tracks, bridleways and quiet roads. The pace will be relaxed and we expect to be back at the pub for 3pm. If that finish is a bit late in the day but you would like to join us for some of the ride, there is a short cut version here that makes the trip about 34 miles. There are also the the usual rides for those who prefer to keep both wheels on tarmac.
9am start, 60 mile Off-Road ride
As usual, we start from the Rose and Crown at the times stated above. Please bring a copy of your chosen route with you.
Three cracking routes crafted by the fair hand of Mr Howe to choose from this Sunday.
As always, please bring a copy of your chosen route with you. We have a “no rider gets left behind” motto that needs support from everyone. Check over your shoulder regularly and shout to your group to ease the pace if the person behind you is struggling to hold your wheel.
The Tuesday evening rides are back and in full swing. Departure time is 6:30pm and the start point is the Pitstone Roundabout, adjacent to the village green.
The sun is out so we plan to take full advantage this weekend.
As always, we depart from the Rose and Crown in Ivinghoe at the times stated above. Even if you feel that the mileage might be a stretch for you, please take the plunge and join the ride. We have a “no rider gets left behind” policy.
This week’s rides have been kindly crafted by the two Daves.
