Three routes to tempt you out this Sunday, the weather is set to be calm and dry so a great chance to get out and ride in a group

Starting at 9am we have a 100km excursion North to Stoke Bruerne on mostly quiet roads, without any huge climbs to worry about, as easy April Grand Fondo opportunity!

At 10am we head out to Princes Risborough with one challenging climb in the middle and then back though Chesham and the Vale.

Please arrive at the Rose And Crown before the ride start time with a ride appropriate working bicycle, and a copy of your preferred route. We will endeavour to ride as groups, supporting riders to complete the rides together, look out for those behind you as well as keeping up with those in front!

It is with great sadness that we have to report the news that Doug Clark passed away earlier today aged 85. Doug was a keen cyclist and a wonderful friend of the Ivinghoe Velos. Up until recently he would join us on our post ride refreshments at the pub sharing his tales of tough rides and races. The picture above of Doug aged 18 really does capture the how great this man was. Please join us in sending our love and sympathy to his family and especially his devoted wife Daphne.

Goodbye Doug, we will all miss you.

Meet at the Rose and Crown at 10 for a gentle bike ride, pace set by the slowest rider. Back to the pub by 12:30ish. All welcome.

It was another washout last week so the 10am rides are the same but the 9am is a brand new route from Mr Howe.

Meet at the Rose and Crown at 10am for cycling, tea and cake. Please bring a bicycle and some cake money.
