First Sunday of the month means coffee stop on the 9am ride. This 50 route is low on climbing and has a very nice trundle through Long Crendon high street with it’s characterful old buildings, before stopping for “elevenses” at around 11am (funny that) at Bradmoor Farm shop in Haddenham, which is spacious venue suitable for drop in cycle groups. The route is a good one to keep the group together with less than 2,000 feet of climb across 50 miles
At 10am we head to the Chesham area, up Fullers hill and then the long climb towards Wendover Woods before a flat finish, 31 miles with 1,600 feet of climbing.
At 10.30 the route takes riders over to Stanbridge for an easy flat circuit before the gentle climb back up the Beacon road. 20 miles with 700 feet of climbing.
As always we meet at the church in Ivinghoe before the suggested ride start times and there is the option of refreshment for mind and body at the Rose and Crown in Ivinghoe after the rides. Join us this weekend to get those winter miles in the bank!

Next Sunday is rememberance Sunday and we will plan a route to enable riders to observe rememberance at Ivinghoe church, this will mean a loop out and back before 11am, or joining the second part of rides after 11am from the usual start point.
