Meet outside the Rose and Crown at 10am for a gentle bike ride with a stop for tea and cake half way. We aim to be back at the pub by about 12:30, but sometimes it is a little later- please say at the start if it is important to you to be back punctually. Pace set by the slowest rider, no one gets left behind. 20 mile ride planned for tomorrow.

I’m luvvin’ the sound of this. No Alps, yes? 🙂 x
It will be the Tea Ride version of the Alpe D’huez especially for you!
Hi would like to join the club? Do you do rides on a Sunday ?
Hi Trudie, yes we do have Sunday rides. You can subscribe on this website for email updates of all the rides going out every week, or just check back on the website the day before the ride to see what is on offer. The tea ride is all ability, goes at the pace of the slowest rider. The Sunday rides are usually a bit faster and longer. Most Sundays there will be a longer ride and a shorter ride. The shorter ride is usually at a steadier pace- about 12-13 mph. It is advisable on Sundays to have your own copy of the route as these rides are not formally led by anyone. Generally groups form and stick together, but you can find yourself riding alone and need to be able to find your way back to the pub.
We are a very informal club, joining just involves turning up! No fees is a plus, but does mean that taking part in rides is at your own risk. I hope that has answered some of your questions, and that we may see you out riding soon.
