Saturday 10am Tea Ride

Planning an easy ride tomorrow, so anyone not sure if they can still ride a bike, this one is for you. We go at the pace of the slowest rider, all welcome. See you at 10 am outside the Rose and Crown.

Saturday 10am Tea Ride

Windy but hopefully dry tomorrow. Last week we managed a circular ride with the wind behind us all the way, we will try and do the same tomorrow.

See you at 10am outside the Rose and Crown for fresh air, tea and cake.

Saturday 10am Tea Ride

Saturday’s almost here already. The sun will be shining, so don’t forget the suntan lotion. A tea stop where we can sit outside is on the cards for tomorrow. New riders always welcome, ride will be tailored to suit. Just turn up with your bicycle at the Rose and Crown for 10am.

See you tomorrow.

Saturday 10am Tea Ride

I’m back from a soggy but enjoyable tour of the Peak District, ready for another tea ride. We will be leaving the Rose and Crown at 10am tomorrow to search for the finest local tea and cake. The more the merrier, see you tomorrow.

Strava security in light of recent bike thefts

If you are a Strava user, please have a look at your privacy settings and consider what information you wish to share. At the moment it is possible to trace where expensive bicycles are located.

You may wish to take some or all of the following actions:
-remove your full name (under settings)
-simplify bike description eg ‘road’
-anonymise location (under privacy)

Then you can carry on enjoying your Strava addiction.
