As usual, meet at the Rose and Crown for a lovely gentle bike ride out for tea and cake, followed by a gentle bike ride home to the Rose and Crown for further refreshments. No rider is too slow, so no excuses. We have some lovely new cyclists at the moment, and are waiting to see some of our new cyclists from the autumn back out. It’s nearly spring!!

As soon as I’ve figured out how to stop my bike making the slightly odd noise it’s making at the moment, I’ll be joining you!
Odd noises are fine as long as the brakes and important bits are working!
Claire, do you need someone to look at your bike?

Hiya Just wondering how far you go /how long you are out for? Thanks.
Hi Anna FitzPatrick, we usually do between 12 and 20 miles depending on the ability of the group. Our aim is to be back at the Rose and Crown by 12:30. The pace of the ride is set by the slowest person in the group, no one gets left behind. New riders always welcome.
Definitely come along Claire Frearson I have been out on two tea rides so far. Last Saturday was 16 miles and the cake and coffee is always good.
I will Debbie, but you wouldn’t want me at the moment – the noise my bike makes is really annoying!
We do between 14 & 20 miles (in total!), as fast as the slowest rider – plenty of catch your breath stops – we stick together the whole way & look after everyone. We are back at the pub between 12 & 12.30 & the route is planned at 9.55am according to who is out & who needs to be back promptly.
I’m not out tomorrow so the lovely Sally Beezer is very much “in charge” 🙂
Everyone is welcome – new to cycling or new to getting started again
Natalie should be out again next week
Maybe! It’s probably something ridiculously simple
