We ain’t no fools

While the temperatures for our 1st April ride won’t be a patch on the mini heat wave we enjoyed this week, our insiders at the Met Office tell us it should be a dry & bright morning. Having said that, please do look out the window before choosing the appropriate numbers of layers to wear tomorrow because our insider also advises the government on what to do when fuel shortages are projected – and we all know how that went this week.

As always, please assemble at the Rose & Crown Ivinghoe around 9:45am.

Long Route

Short Route

Cycle safe.

  1. Hi there, would you be willing to let me join you tomorrow? I live over in Tring and am looking for a club that I can go out from time to time and was recommended you by the guys at Mountain Mania.

    Thanks, Dan.

    1. Dan,

You are most welcome to join us tomorrow. We normally start gathering at the Rose & Crown from 9:45am.
Please do let us know if you need any more details about how to find us.
      Hope to see you tomorrow.

      All the best, John.

  2. John – that’s great, thanks. I’ve never been to the pub, but I’ve driven past the sign a fair few times – I should be ok finding it, thanks.

I’ll see you in the morning – look forward to it.

    Dan

    1. Hi David,

Yep, our rides include people of all abilities (apart from fast!) and to date, we haven’t killed a single rider so you should be OK. You would be most welcome to join us on any of the planned rides. If you join the mailing list you will be notified when we post ride info to the site, but it is fairly safe to say there is a road ride every Saturday and Sunday from 10am at the Rose and Crown. We normally have an off-road ride on the Thursday night starting either from Pitstone roundabout or Ivinghoe Beacon. The off-road rides are normally announced on twitter.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

      All the best,

      John.

  4. many thanks for your reply,
